Sometimes you never know how far you have come unless you look back and reflect at what has transpired during the journey. This is what April had in store for us and I am excited to also announce what we can look forward to in May.
April started off with the property Investment series in which I wrote a few articles about the process of buying a house. This is just to raise awareness on a few things that you should be watching out for if you have just recently bought a property, are in the process of buying one or are possibly considering of buying one in the near future. If you missed those, please click on any of the links below:
- Why buy a property
- Mistakes I made along the way
- Cleaning up before heading out to buy a property
- And how to go about buying one.
This month, I have also written a few articles on business as I ventured in a new business of buying and selling artime, electricity and TV subscription services. As a result, the new venture reminded of a few business principles that I had to implement to make a success of this new venture. This resulted in followings
- Learning to leverage off others
- Finding the right business partner
- The importance of rendering tax returns
- Various business opportunities available for ladies
- Joining the right circle. (thanks for all your support my crew – keep rocking out there)
- The bible and Investing.
In addition to business management, I also highlighted some of the things that we can do to improve our personal money management skills. This include the articles on:
Looking at all that, I am actually proud of how I manage to get that many articles despite the audit life. I felt slightly slacking but I guess something is better than nothing.
Please re-look at the topics of interest and see what you can implement going to May. We still have 2 months left of the second quarter before another big review.
Coming up this month, I am launching episode 2 of the Wave under the title “Students in Business”. This is covering approximately 6 Namibia students that are doing business in addition to pursuing their studies. This is critical as due to the current economic time, one must be able to think outside to avoid falling in the unemployed graduates pool.
Hang around and keep reading:)
Wishing you a productive week ahead and Enjoy May.
